yr girl's website!
If you know me, then hi! If you don't know me, then hi, I'm yr girl, yvette! I'm a fake dyke who organises a real normal amount of stuff around Glasgow. The main things I engage with are leather, dykery, leatherdykery!, transsexuality, and anarchism. I care a lot about grassroots community organisations, connecting organisers across communities, and – separately – the value of rigorous disagreement. Mostly though I love my friends.
This is my website and it's where I keep everything except my music (which you can find on my bandcamp and my demos bandcamp) and except my bad posts (which you can find on my bsky). Also, a quick note on my name: you should conjugate it normally. Shortening to “yr girl” or “our girl” is fine, as is “my girl” if we know each other well enough for that. You don’t have to keep “yvette” lowercase and you can use my name, sans epithet, where relevant. But just wanted to foreground that since a lot of people seem confused about it.
Anyway! I do a lot of writing, which is all erotica inasmuch as its in conversation with internet erotica but the stories are also not really, uh, that kind of story. There’s a bunch of short stuff, collections, and long stuff all available that way.
I also do a lot of blogging, which for me involves posting scene reports, kink discourse, and social criticism – often all mixed together. The posts can get pretty long and refer to my real life friends through epithets which work as a weird, slightly inconsistent key.
I also also have a flatmate, with whom I am in a reasonably serious relationship that is best described as lifestyle power exchange. (I am the top. I appreciate that I do not type like the top but I am the top.) He’s got his own blog hosted on my site and his posts are about topics similar to mine but generally more readable.
Finally, I’ve got a little quote-unquote CV up in case you need everything I do laid out in one place. It’s both a catalogue of everything I’ve done and calendar of everything I’ve got coming up. Please do contact me if you want to reach out for any reason, professional or otherwise x

Forests are more than Collections of Trees
This is mostly about our ecology of language changes and what to do when it seems to stop. This is also about lesbianism and TPE.

No Limits, Yes Safewords, Some Consent
It's the really quite long one where I work through basically everything I can think of in order to form a coherent critique of consent.

My ex explores with such verve and depth something that would take me ten times the length to get across. Go read about (not) safewording.
